Pioneer Saloon ...

Our neighbor told us about a saloon in Goodsprings awhile back, and how you can become a certified a**hole. We met up with some friends and rode out to Goodprings, Nevada, population 232. The Pioneer Saloon is the oldest saloon still operating in Nevada. It even still has bullet holes from 1915; a man was caugh cheating and during a scuffle between him and another man he was shot several times and killed. We didn't get the most friendly welcome, we all walked in and there was an older (drunkin) man sitting at the bar and said loudly "What the F is this, where the hell are you all from?" kinda taken back we walked on through to the back patio and sat at a table. After a little contimlpation if Justin could be a**hole enough, he walked back in and sat at the bar, right next to the crazy drunk man, put a few bucks in the poker machine and ordered a beer. Justin and the town local exchanged a few words, then when Justin commented on how the hell he had to become an a**hole, the local drunk got all excited and called the bartender over, saying we got anoher a**hole! five minutes later Justin was a certified a**hole, #8822





The local man soon became our best friend. telling us stories and jokes. Before we knew it he was inviting us to his friends wedding this weekend. Saying its going to be so much fun, even a Johnny Cash cover band is going to be there.
