Fairy Tale Suite ...

Disneyland posted their most recent blog on Facebook and it was about their Fairy Tale Suite at The Disneyland Hotel . This is my dream room (besides staying inside the actual castle itself)! This suite was made for me, it's whatever I would imagine a fairy tale to be!

Guests enter the Fairy Tale Suite delighted by pixie dust and the appearance of Tinker Bell, who illuminates a crystal castle encased in the wall. A marble foyer descends into an enormous bedroom overlooking the entire resort through floor-to-ceiling windows.

The sage and champagne colors used throughout the suite elegantly blend the combination of blonde and glass furniture. The suite’s centerpiece is an exquisite canopy bed overlooking the corner view. The room is finished with crown moulding, automatic drapes and a custom-designed dresser, from which a flat-panel television ascends at the touch of a button.

The focal point in the suite’s bathroom is a beautiful hand-cut mosaic of a stylized Sleeping Beauty Castle. The mirror disguises a TV and the double vanity countertop twinkles with shooting stars. Domes and Corinthian columns mix thematically with an abundance of modern amenities, including a steam shower and Jacuzzi tub with chromo-therapy.

Happy Birthday Brayden ...

Yesterday brayden turned one years old, so today, Kristine and Mike had a nice BBQ party for him at Discoery Park. I still remember talking to Kristine when she thought she might be maybe pregnant. He has grown up so fast, I can't believe he's 1!

Copa Copa-Cabana ...

Wednesday on our day off Justin + I, Kimy + Cliff, and Alyssa + Corey all went to Aliante Station pool where we had a reservation for a cabana. Weather was great for a nice relaxing day at the pool. They had amazing drinks and us girls were even able to get ours in a cool pineapple!

The boys even had some fun with the tops, and after we drank our drinks we cut them apart to eat the innerds and the boys played some more ...

We had a fun time spending the day laying in the sun and swimming all day long, It's nice having a pool right down the way that we could make a get a little break at.

Justin's 26th Birthday ...

Sunday was Justin's 26th birthday. We started off our day at the New York New York Spa. I got Justin a 75 minute deep tissue massage, so we got there a little early so we both could enjoy the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. It was so nice and relaxing; quiet and so tranquil.

That night we had a cookout with friends. Hot dogs brats, and hot links ... so yummy. I made awesome army men cupcakes since his theme was camo. We bought one botte of Jager, but at the end of the night we ended up with three bottles still in the freezer, even after countless rounds of shots. His friends sure know him well.

Shawn and his wife came by after his softball, still in his jersey, and lo and behold his team is called the 24s !

IOU 2nd Wedding Anniversary ...

Last year for our 2nd wedding anniversary Justin planned on getting me a giant teddy bear, since the traditional gift was cotton. In his style he waiting for the day of, went to Costco the morning of and they were all sold out of their giant teddy bears that he saw there a few weeks prior. He took me to pick something out at Tiffany & Co. instead as a back up, i'm not complaining at any aspect at all.

So fast forward 11 months and we were at Costco doing a little shopping and right upfront are 53" cuddly teddy bears. I squeeled like a little girl and Justin said he owed me one. I picked out a handsome brown grizzly bear, that I soon named Gus. I must have been a sight to see on the way home, since he sat on my lap in the front seat.

La Madres Trail ...

Today after my surprise of breakfast in bed we decided to take the dogs up to red rock to do a little hiking. We had our sights on La Madres Trail. We took the little 4x4 dirt trail up a way until we came to the begining of the hiking trail. Really nice weather up in the ravene with a slight breeze.

Unfortunatly, Jager cut one of the pads on his back paw and we had to turn around. We made it 3/4 the way up, but poor Jager was hurting. Justin had to carry him most of the way down.

He just is getting a little too old we think to be running around on unmaintained land expecially in warmer weather. He used to do so good, but age has caught up to him.

PM Motorcycle Ride ...

Yesterday on our day off Justin was helping a friend installing a bunch of boy toys in his new Subaru WRX. When everything was done, Justin and I took a motorcycle ride up to Mt. Charleston Lodge for dinner. It was beautiful weather riding into the sunset, watching the sky and mountains change colors.

The ride down was amazing with the bright moon and the shining stars. Having no roof or doors to block the views of everything made it perfect. I absolutly love having mini dates on the bike with my hubby.

And The Thunder Rolls ...

Last night a thunderstorm rolled through our backyard. Thunder, Rain, Wind, all during a very pretty sunset. It made for a perfect evening to spend outdoors, just the two of us and our dogs.

Natural History Museum ...

Yesterday Kimy, Cliff, Justin and I made an adventure to Las Vegas Natural History Museum. None of us have ever been, so we weren't sure what to expect. Well it's no Milwaukee Public Museum or Chicago Science and Industry Museum, but it was fun. We made the best of it and it was a really fun day.

A few fun pictures ...

My camera died, so i'm still waiting on Kimy to upload from her camera, so I can steal her pictures.

Garage Sale Find ...

My dad took us to an estate sale that he heard of last week and I found a great home decore find. A pair of antique chandeliar candelabrum sconces. It took some persuading on my part to Justin, since he thought they were too girl. But once we got them hung, he loved them and thought they added a little gothic touch.
