Valentines #7 ...

This year marked out seventh valentines day together. We did our traditional Top of the World dinner at the Stratosphere. It probaly was one of the most fun dates there ever. Not sure if we were just so giggly to start with but we were being completley entertained by the couples sitting right by the window. The first couple was comstantly on their phones or one of them would be missing from the table. Couple number two with a third wheel made their dining experience a photography session taking dozens and dozens of pictures. The final couple was the most normal but she was pretty drunk and when the faux dessert tray came around on the outskirts she kept poking at all the different kinds. It all made for a funny night.

New Job ...

I'm so excited. After four and a half years working in the spa at MGM I am transfering. I love the area I work in. My hours are great, and I have made so many good friends that I get to see on a day to day basis. Luckily not much is changing. As of now, concierge does all of our appointment booking and they probaly screw up 25% of the appointments. The department pays some ridiculace amount each month so they could take care of our phone calls. Way to drop the ball. So in a few weeks we will be opening up our very own call center that oversees everything. Already knowing the system and services I jumped at this oppurtunity to help open the call center. I'm going to be number one in senority and help train out new hires. And even better news I will only be a hop skip and a jump away from my old stomping grounds. Very easy to stop by for some coffee.

Justin surprised me with a congradulations gift the other day for getting my new job. I have always loved this diamond necklace from Tiffany&Co. And yes diamonds are expensive, but Tiffany diamonds are super expensive. So I have just drooled from a safe distance. Not anymore! Its a Elsa Peretti platnium diamond by the yard necklace. I'm in LOVE!

Kristine's Baby Shower ...

I hosted Kristine's baby shower for Aubrey. Everything was pink Pink PINK! It was more laid back than the baby shower I threw for Brayden. I cut the games, so it gave us girls more time to chit chat and catch up with some of the other girls that we don't see everyday at work anymore. The best thing about throwing a girl baby shower is a lot more fun shopping for.

Happy Birthday Kimy ...

Yesterday was Kimy's Birthday. I surprised her with a nail appointment at work. I decorated the room with a balloon and a bunch of little goodies. Later that night the whole family met up at Sierra Gold for dinner and drinks. After we met Alyssa and Corey at Double Helix. We have never been there, so we were trying it for the first time. It was a nice and laid back kind of place. Couches, big plush chairs, and really cool colored glass lamps.

Happy Birthday to my baby sister !!!

Kingman ...

My parents were taking a mini vacation in Laughlin, and invited us down yesterday to meet up with them for some antiquing. I have a new obsession with crystal. My mom has given me a number of bowls, trays, candle holders, and candy dishes. I added a great crystal salt and pepper shaker set to my collection, and of course I got a deal. Next on my list is finding a crystal wine decanter. Justin got a lot more license plates to hang up in the garage. I can't wait for us to put them up to fill in more of the far wall.

Til our next antiquing adventure.

Magical Forest ...

Tonight we all went to Magical Forest at Oppurtunity Village. We haven't been in a few years and man did they upgrade! We had a great time strolling up and down the paths and enjoying hot cocoa and funnel cake. We even saw Rollie Fingers there with his family. I didn't have the heart to interupt him and his family, so there's no picture. I love Christmas lights, they are like the cherry onto of a sundaie.

Holiday Light Parade ...

The family climbed into my parents SUV and we had a mission. Travel around town looking at all the Holiday lights. Better said than done. Our Itinerary included us all going to dinner, the glittering lights at the speedway, a few holiday dancing houses, and the magical forest. There wasn't enough time in the evening to experience everything without us feeling rushed, so we never made in to the magical forest, but that will be on our list for all of us to visit on Christmas Eve.
