Mary loved her first Thanksgiving. She ate a little of everything, but the pumpkin cheesecake was her favorite.
After dinner and going through the Black Friday adds, we pulled out my moms new Christmas tree. They had these hard cardboard polls and they turned into swords.
Kimmie got be good with one if the piles so as payback, Justin and I handcuffed her.
Last year on Black Friday little Miss Mary was born. Even though the date of Black Friday changes each year, the day will always hold so many special memories.
Mary's first birthday party was a big success. We had a photo booth, piƱata dinner, cupcakes and present! Thank you everyone that indured the rain and came to celebrate!
This highchair has ben in my family for over 100 years. Mary is the 6th generation to use it. It also transforms into a stroller.
One year today our little girl was born after 2.5 hours of labor at 2:20am. 6 pounds 4 ounces and 18.5 inches long. One week early on Black Friday. We were the only ones in labor and delivery. I remember her little cry as she entered the world, her full head of hair, her tiny fingers and toes. I became a mom, Justin became a dad, and our family grew to three.
This year marked Mary's first Halloween. Everyone in the family wanted to be apart of it, so we had everyone over. I made my traditional chili in the crockpot.
Mary loved trick or treating. We did the big loop in our neighborhood and she filled up her pumpkin pail to the top. Each time someone have her candy she would look down into her pail and back up and them and smile. It was the cutest. Once we got home we emptied out all her candy I front of her and she went straight to the tootsie pop. (Grandpa gives her tootsie pops all the time at his house.)
This year we opted out of carving pumpkins. Instead we decided to paint them. Of course I went the more crafty cute route and Justin went the more dark Halloween route.
We've never been to McKee ranch, but always have seen friends posted about it. This past Wednesday we got the family together and head out for the ranch. Mary loved all of the animals, but just wasn't yet ready to feed them herself.
But she was ready for a pony ride. She kept rocking back and forth to make her pony go faster. She loved it!
Of course my momographer loved all of the photo-ops around every corner.
