Wisconsin ...

New Years day my grandfather lost his battle with cancer. My parents flew out that day and myself, Justin, Mary, and Kimy flew out on the third. I was a littler nervous flying with Mary. I didn't want to be "that" family. She did so good. Slept almosty the whole way and then just kicked and played while she was awake.

The weather was only in the low twenties, so we had to make sure Mary was bundled up good. Before we left we shopped at Target for a warmer "snow" suit. Unfortunatly, they don't have much of a selection for a midwest winter, so we had to buy a 3 month, which was a tad too big.

I'm so glad that my grandma got to meet Mary. Mary defiantly brightened the room whenever she was in it. I think she made my grandma feel a little better too. We were even able to get a four generation photo with all of us girls.

The trip had its highs and lows, but the most important thing was that the family was all together.

Bye Bye 2012 ...

2012 was an amazing year. We found out that we were expecting after trying for two years, spent an amazing week in Hawaii, and welcomed our sweet baby girl.

We had our 4th annual PJ NYE party. It was a little more low keyed this year, because of Mary, but it was just as fun. We had two other couples join us for champaign and watching the celebration on TV. Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper were hilarious after midnight, we actually watch it twice.

I can't wait for all of our 2013 memories.

Christmas ...

This Christmas was our favorite of all time. I can't get over how much better it was with our little Mary. Justin had the whole Christmas week off of work. It made it feel like winter break.

Christmas morning we headed to my parents for a breakfast feast. Waffles, pancakes, sausage, bacon, and fresh fruit. After we stuffed ourselves we open gifts. Of course Mary made out like a bandit and  she slept while she did it. Nap time followed for a few or little fix it projects for the guys. It was a fun relaxing day. We stuffed ourselves again at dinner. Prime rib was on the menu.

We want to say thank you to all our family and friends for the amazing support and love that they have given us this year. You all have made this holiday season our most memorable.
